Sharing Our Experiences Workshop

On Saturday, March 31, 2012, ACER attended the Sharing Experiences Workshop held by the Conservation of Hamilton. The goal of this workshop is to get together, share, learn and network for community based environmental groups.

Throughout the day ACER participated in the event by sharing and learning about other organizations, what they do and what they have learned. The topics that were covered are: Engaging Multicultural Communities in Conservation, Get Social Media Working for You, Planning for Public Lands, Planning Issues: Get Your Voice Heard, The Path to Incorporation and Funding Fundamentals.

ACER’s President, Alice Casselman and Program Coordinator, Ana Maria Martinez attended the workshop to learn and share their experiences.
