On Sunday, June 14, ACER held its virtual annual general meeting, with both ACER members and guests in attendance. Following the formal business portion, informal updates on ACER’s activities in 2025, including an overview of ACER’s social media presence, were provided by Alice Casselman, ACER Founder and President, and Sonya Wieler, ACER Board Secretary. Wendy Bodnoff also spoke— about the challenges ACER faces as it heads into the future, some of which we ALL face amid today’s uncertainties.  A special thank you goes out to guest speaker Santhosh Thyagarajan, who delighted the audience as he spoke of his journey documenting biodiversity at Lake Aquitaine, a stormwater management pond in Mississauga. The meeting closed with an overview of ACER’s plans and a heartfelt thank you to all of ACER’s supporters, by Alice.
