A survey conducted by Imagine Canada in 2011 has found that:

• Canadian Charities continue to experience difficulty carrying out their mission.
• Some charities consider themselves at risk.
• There are signs of stress within the charities.
• Revenues have remained the same, in comparison to previous years.
• There have not been significant changes in human resources.
• Leaders now are more pessimistic than in previous years.
