Thanks to all those who came out to the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment – Niagara workshop at Heartland Forest on Fri. Feb. 7th, 2014. Presentations by Heather Auld from Risk Sciences International and Nobel Laureate Don MacIver, the Mayor of Amaranth, were heard in the morning and future hazards likely to affect Niagara region, biodiversity, climate change were discussed. Workshop participants discussed Niagara’s top ten risks to biodiversity and preventative actions as well as top ten hazards likely to affect the Niagara region and preventative actions that should be taken.
