This section looks at the future using scientific projections (Section 6.2.1) for Ontario based on data on greenhouse gases, temperature and precipitation, and costs of extreme events.
Projected future impacts or effects (Section 6.2.2) are examined in selected natural and built systems in Ontario, especially for the Great Lakes region, the region with the greatest population density in the province.
