On October 6, 2014, 28 students from Blaydon Public School arrived at Wildwood park located at Derry Road East and Goreway Drive for Riparian Rangers event. Students planted native plants and monitored them. They also pulled up invasive species (Buckthorn and Garlic Mustard) and picked up the litter from the area.
