OUR MISSION: ACER supports communities, government agencies and corporations in taking action to reduce biodiversity loss and strengthen climate resilience by increasing and monitoring urban and riparian zone forest canopy.

Riparian Rangers Otonabee

In the fall 2017, through Riparian Rangers, ACER with student and adult volunteers planted, 1160 trees and shrubs, then tagged, mapped, and measured 184 plants. This project was funded by the Great Lakes Guardian Community Fund (GLGCF), and accomplished in cooperation with the Otonabee Region Conservation Authority (ORCA).
