OUR MISSION: As our climate changes, ACER supports communities with grassroots initiatives to plant trees, and educates on how to measure, monitor and report on tree health and growth.

Riparian Rangers Central Lake (CLOCA)

In fall 2018, through Riparian Rangers, the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority (CLOCA) and ACER worked with student and adult volunteers, and a planting contractor to plant 3,300 trees and shrubs, then tag, map, and measure 100 plants. This project was funded by the Great Lakes Guardian Community Fund (GLGCF), and accomplished in cooperation with Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority (CLOCA).
