P4C Planting Day at Connaught Public School

On Mon. Oct. 28th, 2013, Connaught Public School in St. Catharines, ON planted 16 trees and 45 shrubs and became ACER’s 26th Planting for Change (P4C) school in Southern Ontario. The entire school came out to help along with Climate Action Niagara, our partner. The trees were measured and mapped by the students and ACER. Thanks to all the volunteers and the principal, Tara Michel, for helping to organize this planting day. We look forward to watching the trees grow and collecting the annual growth data for our online database!
