Ridgewood PS – 1st Birthday!

On Thursday June 2, 2011 Ridgewood PS celebrated their 1st year birthday in Mississauga for the Planting for Change project which enables students and teachers to maintain and measure their own personal tree plot. ACER celebrated 1 year since the program was introduced to Ridgewood. A yearly measurement was taken by ACER scientists, students and staff. A resounding success, the Ridgewood plot is in good health, a sign that the students and staff have done a excellent job on the plot. Our thanks go out to everyone who attended and everyone who helped measure and maintain the plot. We hope to see you all next year, keep up the good work!

ACER’s president, Alice Casselman, P4C Coordinator, Sophie Lu, and ACER Program Coordinator, Ana Maria Martinez all attended the celebration, assisting with data collection and plot maintenance.
