P4C Planting Day at St. Gerard Separate School

On Friday Oct. 25th, 2013, Mrs. Spudic’s class and volunteer high school students from St. Martin’s Secondary School planted 16 native tree species and 45 shrubs as part of the Planting for Change (P4C) program. Students learnt how to properly plant trees and shrubs and about climate change. The trees were measured and mapped by the students and ACER. Thanks to our volunteers and St. Gerard Separate School in Mississauga for helping us establish the 25th P4C plot in Southern Ontario!
