On Sunday, June 9, ACER held its annual general meeting of members. The meeting was virtual with many people, both members and guests, in attendance. The meeting kicked off informally with presentations by Alice Casselman, ACER Founder and President, Sadia Butt, ACER Program Manager, Jonathan Brown, GIS Coordinator for Sustainable Cobourg, and David Laing, President of the Brampton Environmental Alliance. The presentations provided updates on ACER’s activities in 2023 and plans for 2024 and beyond including the exciting potential for the use of drone technology in ACER programs and other initiatives going forward. For those who could not attend or who would like to hear the presentations again, click below for the recording.
ACER would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to outgoing Board Chair Madelyn Webb. We thank her leadership and for her many other contributions to the Board over the past six years and look forward to continuing our collaboration with her, as she will remain a member of ACER’s Science Advisory Council.
